ATHENE got banned...World famous World of Warcraft player and internet idol ‘Athene’ has been banned from World of Warcraft. The past month the immensely popular ‘Athene’ YouTube series has been more successful than ever before, getting #1 ranks in YouTube’s most viewed with all recent episodes. And at the top of its success, Athene’s World of Warcraft account was banned as a result of what happened in the latest Athene video. Athene himself states: “I've been a World of Warcraft player since the game was released, I’ve played for more than 600 days total playtime, I ran one of the most popular Youtube series in the world; dedicated to WoW, and now my WoW account has been banned. Because of this I also have to stop making the Athene videos, since without Athene there is no subject anymore for the series." Hundreds of thousands of loyal Athene fans are outraged by the event and are massively subscribing to his YouTube account to show their support and in the hopes of getting him unbanned just by showing how many fans want him back.
